Announcing the 2008 Raindrop Rally by Rainier Auto Sports Club. This year’s event, scheduled for April 27th, will begin in South Everett at the Furniture Factory Outlet, 9900 19th Ave SE. Take exit 189 off I-5 and follow signs to Hwy 527 and Hwy 527 South. Furniture Factory is just past the Skate Deck on right. A drivers meeting will be at 10:15 and first car is out at 11:01. The event will finish at Alfy’s Pizza in Smokey Point and will run approximately 110 miles and 3-1/2 hours in length. Entry fee is $30 (preregistration), $35 (day of event). The Karl and Karina team competed in the first Friday Nighter of the 2008 season in the SOP class. They kicked butt by beating out not only Novice and SOP, but also most Unlimited and Masters competitors too!
